The Cutting Red Tape programme was introduced in JUly 2015 to allow business to tell government how it could cut red tape and reduce bureaucratic barriers to growth and productivity within their sector.
The Cutting Red Tape team is part of a joint team, working across the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills - BIS (later the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy - BEIS), and the Cabinet Office.
