Captured ship: Mary of Morbihan, master Peter La Sant.
History: bound from Bordeaux to London, laden with wine, high country wine, walnut oil, turpentine, soap, verdigris, vinegar and cork, with some of the wine consigned by Sir David English [as a gift from the Duke of Verneuil] for the King of England; having passed through the French fleet assembled at Brest, was taken on [13] June 1667 by HMS Drake (Thomas Harwood commanding) and brought into Plymouth.
