Captured ship: Golden Fortune of Hamburg, master John Van Vleton.
History: bound from Bordeaux to Hamburg, laden with high country wine; came into Cowes road, Isle of Wight, in early February 1665 with the Charity of Hamburg, and was seized when making sail by HMS Mary Rose and brought into Portsmouth.
