Description

6223. Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 211. Warrant to pay Captain B. Marz of the Regiment de Bunau [i.e. the Garrison Regiment von Bünau], the sum of £8 5s sterling. Being compensation allowed him by the Board of Officers for the loss of a suit of regimentals on board the 'Favourite' transport in the River Delaware in March 1778, as per the annexed account and at a rate fixed by the said Board of Officers.
