Folio 20: Shelburne to Walpole. Guinand is returning to Paris. The points to be raised concerning the Canada paper liquidation are: 1) to secure that British property is not affected by the royal edict for the conversion of reconnaissances into contract stocks, 2) to obtain an order that the claims by Vialars on behalf of others are to be delivered at the liquidation office, 3) to obtain similar ordes for Vialars' own claims and 4) to raise the qustion of Chabert's paper [see f.22].
Date and place: 1768 Sept 19 Whitehall.
