Folios 21-23.
To: The General Board of Health.
From: John Guichwood, 49 Pall Mall, London.
Subject Matter: Letter complaining of a foul smell from a nuisance arising from a dung heap from stables in Crown House at the rear of Guichwood's premises. Guichwood states that he has complained to the parties to blame, Mr Fleming but little has been done and adds that the height of this dung heap has been 8 feet and has extended half way across the court. He states that he has only just come to live in London and therefore enquires as to the parish authorities of this district as to what he can do to bring nuisances before the proper authorities.
