Folio 18-19. Report of the recorder of London, John Stacey, on the petition for mercy of Mary Kippen, alias Merritt, against her conviction at the Old Bailey on 15 May 1746 for receiving one pair of blankets. Case involved her two husbands Jack Merrit and 'one Kipping', a principle felon William Burns and accomplice Edward Davis, and Constable William Body.
