Says he was forced to enlist by [Macdonald of]?Keppoch, and his brother. Refers to Major MacDonnell, a cousin of Lord Glengae [?]. Letter sent c/o Alex [Alexander] Small Junior, George Street, York Buildings, London [Middlesex]. Seal. Dated at Carlisle Castle [Cumberland].
