Affidavit on behalf of Sir Archibald Primrose [of Dunipace, Stirlingshire], sworn by Ninian Wys, servant to Lord Kilmarnock, stating that Sir Archibald was taken prisoner to Callendar House [Falkirk, Stirlingshire] by a party of horse of the [Jacobite] Highland Army, who had orders to burn Sir Archibald's house if he resisted. Dated at Carlisle [Cumberland].
