To: The Local Government Act Office.
From: John Poole, Clerk to the Sewage Committee of the Sewer Authority, Ulverston [Lancashire].
Subject Matter: Letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 1 June 1870. Poole states that the Sewer Authority are 'exceedingly glad' to find that Mr Rawlinson is coming to Ulverston to ascertain the validity of Mr Askew's objections to the proposed scheme to extend their sewerage works. Poole states that the inquiry may be held in the Assembly Rooms.
