John Sharpe [Treasury solicitor] to [Duke of Newcastle] concerning prisoners held for High Treason in the northern circuit, at Carlisle [Cumberland], Morpeth [Northumberland, Cumberland], and Whitehaven [Cumberland], as well as those captured at sea, some held at Hull [Yorkshire]. Also requests warrants to carry prisoners to Carlisle and York [Yorkshire], from Berwick [upon Tweed, Northumberland, Berwickshire] and elsewhere, for trial at the 'Special Commission'
