Description

British Museum: Prints and Drawings Department. Details of mahogany bookcase for Keeper's Room. Scale: 1 inch to 1 foot; full size. Signed by John Taylor, H M Office of Works, 12 Whitehall Place. Inscribed: 'This is one of the drawings referred to in our tender dated 9th August, 1895 and upon which such tender is based'; signed by Wiilliam Cubitt & Co.
