The Committee was comprised of a representative from the main Council, the Chief Finance Officer, a representative from the Internal Audit Unit of the Research Councils and a representative from the Office of Science and Technology, the Council's sponsoring department. The main function of the Committee was to monitor the Council's activities and to assess its achievements.
