Peerage Bill resolutions. The resolves of the committee for 25 peers to have hereditary seats in Parliament as part of the Peerage of Scotland, in which 9 will have immediate right to a seat, the remaining 16 to become Peers after the 'determination of the present Parliament'. Restrictions imposed on creating new Peers including by 'Writ, or any Peerage granted by Patent'. The hereditary right to sit in Parliament shall not fall to females but shall have no limitations on Peerages granted from the Crown or higher ranking dignitaries.
