Prisoner name: Edward Occleston.

Prisoner age: 14 years.

Court and date of trial: Lancaster Quarter Sessions, Preston [Lancashire], 4 January 1838.

Crime: Stealing a pair of stays.

Initial sentence: Seven years transportation.

Gaoler's report: 'Very ignorant and idle. Convicted before and twice imprisoned'.

Annotated (Outcome): 'Nil'.

Petitioner(s): Alice Occleston, prisoner's mother of 13 Bowran Street, Preston, Lancashire, undersigned by 19 supporters.
