Folio 600. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to George Allsop, Relieving Officer of the Second District, Mansfield Poor Law Union, relating to a communication from the Mr Manwaring [John Manwaring, Poor Law Inspector] dated 25 February 1853.
The Board ask for an immediate explanation as to why Allsop's Receipt and Expenditure Book is not up to date and has not been balanced since the current quarter commenced. The book also shows that Allsop has £51 12s 11d in hand.
