Envelope, marked 'Battle of Britain', fourth of four mounted on card typed 'Southern Railway 4-6-2' with '28' on reverse, containing five images of British Railways (former Southern Railway) 'Battle of Britain' class 4-6-2 locomotives:
1) Monochrome photographic postcard, with printed captions on face and reverse, by Photochrom Company, Tunbridge Wells, No 34069 'Hawkinge' hauling the 'Kentish Belle' all-'Pullman' express [c.1950], 8cm x 13cm.
2) Two cuttings from 'Trains Illustrated Summer Annual' 1955, photographic illustration with cutting of printed caption attached to reverse, No 34085 '501 Squadron' hauling the 'Golden Arrow' boat express having just left Victoria, London.
3) Colour postcard, with printed caption on face, by Valentine, reproduction of painting, [No 34055] 'Fighter Pilot' on train leaving Victoria station, London [c.1955], 8cm x 13cm.
