Folios 661-665. Letter from W E Goodacre, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, enclosing details of temporary outdoor relief given to men who are to be employed by the Superintendent Commissioners of Mansfield, who are improving the highways. The guardians are putting the Labour Test Order into operation, but as the workhouse is full, relief is being granted under Article 6 of the Consolidated Order to the following:
