Folio 628. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, regarding public nuisances. The medical officer considers that several nuisances in private houses near the workhouse are affecting the health of the inmates, but the town council will not act as directed under the Nuisance Removal Act 23& 24 Vic c 77. Do the guardians have any powers to compel them to act?
