Folios 622-623. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, referring to the resignation of Cecil Webster as medical officer of Bewdley district, Kidderminster union. After advertising, the guardians received no applications for the post and asked Webster to continue in office with an increased salary (at present, £70 10s 8d). He asked for £100 per annum, which the guardians will pay, beginning on 25 March 1866. Saunders asks if it is necessary to reappoint Webster, who had resigned his post.
