Folios 585-586. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, referring to Mr Stretton, Medical Officer of Kidderminster District 1 and the Kidderminster workhouse. Stretton injured his knee 12 months ago, and needs leave of absence for three months. The guardians wish to appoint Dr Thursfield [Thomas Thursfield, Medical Officer, Kidderminster Workhouse] as his substitute for this period, under article 200 of the General Consolidates Order.
Annotated: call attention to article 193 of the General Consolidated Order.
