This series contains LOCOG's staff intranet. This was known as 'The Knowledge' within LOCOG. An intranet is an internal or private network employing internet technology and accessed over the internet, and is meant for the exclusive use of the creating organisation and is protected from unauthorised access with security systems (e.g. firewalls). 'The Knowledge' was used for disseminating policy, procedures and corporate information to LOCOG staff.
