Description

Captured ship: Le Postillon of Rouen (master Pierre Mancretien).

History: a French ship (60 tons, 4 men and a boy), bound from Bordeaux to Rouen, laden with wine; taken on 31 May / 11 June 1744 in Audierne Bay, Brittany by the privateer Willing Mind (Thomas Snow commanding), and brought into Jersey.
