History: a French ship (150 tons, 6 guns, 10 men), bound from Acadia (Newfoundland) to Brest or Rochefort, laden with provisions; taken on 30 November / 10 December 1746 in latitude 44°N by HMS Monmouth (Henry Harrison commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
