Captured ship: De Printz Frederick of Hamburg (master Jochim Hartmann).
History: a Hamburg ship (70 tons, 5 men and 2 boys), bound from Hamburg to Bilbao, laden with scythes, sack cloth, linen, wax, starch, glasses, pepper and sangalettas; taken on 12/23 May 1748 off Beachy Head by the privateer Warren (Thomas Hancock commanding), and brought into Dover.
