Captured ship: Fandango (master unknown).
History: a Spanish merchant ship (17 tons), bound from Fuerteventura to Gran Canaria, laden with wheat; taken on 30 September 1740 at anchor at Grande Tarajal by the Rhode Island privateer St. Andrew (Charles Davidson commanding), and brought into Madeira.
Court Papers:
- [CP 1]: standing interrogatories, four examinations;
- [CP 2] - [CP 3]: letter stating that the examinations are enclosed, envelope;
- [CP 4]: notarised attestation in Spanish that the examinations were taken in the presence of the consul;
[Not brought to adjudication, January or February 1741]
