History: a French privateer (7 tons, 4 swivel guns, 18 men), bound from Cherbourg on a cruise; chased ashore, sunk and destroyed on 11/22 May 1747 at Dunnose on the Isle of WIght by the privateer George (William Freebairn commanding).
