Captured ship: the Black Anne Snow of Boston [Masschusetts] (master Thomas Bazin before the capture, and Michel Disparraguerre).
History: a New England merchant ship (150 tons, 13 French, 3 English), bound from [America to England], laden with sugar and rum; taken on 28 February/11 March 1745 in latitude 50° by the French privateer L'Entreprenant (François Graciet commanding), retaken on 5/16 March in latitude 47° by the privateer Prince Charles (Charles Gwynn commanding) and brought into Bristol.
