Also memoranda, minutes, transcripts of proceedings, the final draft and a printed copy of the report, together with the final report of an interdepartmental committee established to consider the Courts Martial Committee's recommendations.

The Committee was set up on 18th March 1938 by the Secretaries of State for War and Air to examine the existing system of trial by Courts Martial. The Chairman was M. (later Sir) Roland Oliver, MC, KC. It was particularly asked to consider the desirability of appeal by Army and Air Force personnel to a civil tribunal. The report was published in May 1940.
