Captured ship: Warrior (master Jacob de Hart).
History: an American merchant ship with a letter of marque (100 tons, 12 carriage guns, 50 men), bound from Philadelphia to Cap Francois, Saint Domingue, laden with flour, taken on 27 August 1782 at Cape Henlopen by HMS Quebec (Christopher Mason commanding), HMS Centurion (Samuel W. Clayton commanding), HMS Vestal (Richard Fox commanding), HMS Bonetta (James Coates commanding), HMS Belisarius (Richard Graves commanding) and the privateer Digby (Lawton commanding) and brought into New York.
Court papers: 1-6; Ship's papers: 7-12.
