British New York Vice-Admiralty Court.
Captured ship: Warren formerly North Briton (master Hezekiah Perkins).
History: an American merchant ship (sloop, 50 tons, 5 men), bound from Charleston, South Carolina to Bordeaux, laden with rice, indigo; taken on 29 October 1777 in latitude 38°N, longitude 73°W by HMS Nautilus (John Collins commanding), and brought into New York.
Court papers: 1-6; Ship's papers: 7-12.
