Captured ship: Three Brothers (master James Babson).
History: an American merchant ship (schooner) (50 tons, 6 men) bound from Salem to Bilbao via Georgetown South Carolina laden with rice, staves and indigo; taken on 22 May 1777 in 39°N 33°W by the privateer Marlborough of Liverpool (George Dawson commanding) and brought into Liverpool.

Ships Papers: numbered SP 1-SP 25, SP 23 being"a parcel of loose papers of no consequence" now numbered SP 23/1 to SP 23/33.
