British New York Vice-Admiralty Court.
Captured ship: Right Hand (master Asa Palmer).
History: a American merchant ship (sloop, 81 tons, 11 men), bound from Grenada to British New London, Connecticut, laden with rum, sugar; taken on 8 March 1782 in latitude 38°N, longitude 75°W by the privateer Caty and Polly (Thomas Marsh commanding), and brought into New York.
Court papers: 1-5; Ship's papers: 6-46. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
