Captured ship: Marseillaansche Vriendschap (master Jan Adriaans).
History: a Dutch merchant ship (260 tons, 2 swivel guns, 10 men), bound from Cette [Sète] to Rotterdam, laden with wine, brandy, almonds; taken on 24 June 1780 in latitude 36°50'N, by the privateer Elizabeth (Thomas Canty commanding), and brought into Falmouth.
