Captured ship: Louise (master Dominique Dubourg).
History: a French merchant ship (120 tons), bound from Bayonne to Brest, laden with salt, tar, pitch, rosin and wool; taken on 26 August 1780 about 4 leagues from Brest, by the privateer Greyhound (James Neilson commanding), and brought into Bristol.
Court papers: 1-4; Ship's papers: 5-5. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
