Captured ship: De Jonge Nella (master Jemke Douws).
History: a Dutch merchant ship (bilander, 32 tons, 3 men), bound from Ostend to Rouen, laden with metal, copper, lead, tin, goat's hair, saddlery and other merchandize; discovered in distress at sea in October 1779 and brought to Rye and there seized on 14 February 1780 by the privateer Stag (John Haddock commanding).
Court papers: 1-12; Ship's papers: 13-37. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
