Captured ship: Goede Intentie (master C Bockjes).
Nationality: Prussian.
History: bound from Amsterdam to Greenland (for the Greenland [whale] fishery); taken before November 1798 by a squadron of HM ships under the command of Sir Richard Onslow bart, and brought into Great Yarmouth.
Appeal filed in 1799, but no separate appeal papers. For process in the appeal, see HCA 44/23, ff114-115v.
