Incorporated by act of 27th July 1857. Under London & South Western Railway Act of 3rd June 1862, Wimbledon & Dorking Railway Company was transferred to London & South Western Railway Company. London & South Western Railway Company became part of Southern Railway Company as from 1st January 1923 under Railways (Southern Group) Amalgamation Scheme 1922 dated 22nd December 1922.
