Folios 163-164: Charles Papps Price, HMS Badger, Isles St Marcou. On 18 [May 1799] he sent the sloop he keeps to fish for HMS Badger to Portsmouth for the rest of the coals Captain Patten granted them last autumn but the Customs officers will not allow coals to be sent there without Port Duties. Asks for an order to be sent to the Custom House. He thought the letter of 27 [May 1799] enclosing Mr Rose's note had agreed to them having coals without port charges.
