Folios 240-241: Charles Papps Price, HMS Badger. Isles St Marcou [Îles Saint-Marcouf]. Reply to letter dated 12 May 1798 to find his small efforts in doing his duty on 17 May 1798 has met with the approbation of my Lord Commissioners of the Admiralty, and that they have been pleased to promote him to the rank of Commander. He thanks them. He requests the promotion of one of the Midshipmen Mr George Nash.
