Folios 163-164: Thomas Parr, HMS Standard, Yarmouth. Reports that the Ships:- HMS Belliqueux, HMS Nassau, HMS Standard, HMS lion & HMS Montague when [?] are now unmouring going to the Nore all Commanded by the People. The is Northerly should it continue we shall arrive tomorrow, and as he has kept the Ship's Company of HMS Standard in perfect tranquility and sobriety, and have still great weight with them, he will be happy such steps may be taken to enable him to take the Ship as soon as possible to Admiral Duncan's very reduced Fleet. HMS Inspector and HMS Comet are also going but he has sent Mr Buller on board HMS Nassau where the deligates hold their consultations, to prevail on them to order these Sloops to remain for the Protection of the Trade etc, in which he hopes to succeed. He hopes their Lordship's will not think him forward in thus addressing them, the information being absolutely necessary, and the doubt he is under of their Lordshop's attaining it so speedily. He is sorry to conclude by saying he cannot succeed in leaving HMS Inspector and HMS Comet behind.
