Folios 105-106: Robert Parker, Portsmouth. Reply to letter Dated 13 January 1797 informing him that they had no further answer to give him on the subject of his Commission for HMS Swiftsure, he has of necessity taken a journey hither for the purpose of endorsing Rear Admiral Parkers appointment to you and he requests that you will; do him the favour in presenting it to their Lordships's. He also requests they inform his agents:- Mssrs Clementson & Denton, 14 Clement's Inn when it is confirmed and he shall return imediatly to his house in the Country.
