Description

Folios 465-468: Christopher Nixon, HMS Nightingale, Antwerp. Reply to letter dated 7 July 1815 enclosing a letter from Mr Galbraith a Surgeon in the Navy, in which he complains of his having treated him in an improper manner and called him a Spy; and signifying to him their directions that he should explain his conduct. [Total of four and a half sides, Mentions:-] Rear Admiral Sir P Malcolm KB, wounded from Brussells, a Jesuit Church being used as a Hospital, Reports of a Person in Naval Surgeons Uniform had been observed in different Hospitals without offering assistance, Doctor McDougal the Physician to the Force, Mr Beatty
