Description

Folios 191-192: MacDowell [James M'Dowal], Regulating Officer, Greenock. Covering letter for the enclosed letter from Messrs H Crawford & Son the Law Agents , on the case of William Keith who was impressed by Lieutenant [Mark] Ecken on shore and was at the time "Carpenter" of a ship bound America. - He volunteered.

Folios 193-194: enclosure with folios 191-192. Letter dated 10 June 1815 by H Crawford & Son, Greenock, to Captain MacDouall, Regulating Officer, Greenock. [Three sides on large paper - Time line?] 6 May 1815 & 26 May 1815 for William Keith.

Folios 195-196: enclosure with folios 191-192: (Abstract) Letter from Mr Robert McCline writer in Glasgow to Hugh Crawford and Son writer in Greenock, dated 7 June 1815. Statement in the Keith case.

Folios 197-198: enclosure with folios 191-192. Letter dated 6 June 1815 by Duncan Mcintyre - Change Keeper - Falkirk, John Gilchrist - Tailor - Falkirk, George Dawson - Bookbinder and Malcolm McIntyre - Farmer - Carnmuir[?]. (Statements made before) John Hugh J.P. Falkirk.
