Description

Folios 483-484: Kenneth Mckenzie, HMS Venus, Gothenburg. Says it was unfortunate HMS Censor hasn't joined him in Norway. Encloses Lieutenant Lucas's letter.

Folios 485-486: enclosed in folios 483-484. Letter dated 9 June 1814 by Lieutenant Lucas, HMS Censor, Flemish Roads to Captain Mackenzie. Lengthy explanation referring to Captain [John?] Ross, HMS Briseis and Mr Morcier a Minister being landed at Fleckrae [Flekkerøy?]. Was informed by Sir Thomas Williams who was directing Mr Mourice to pay attention to him.

Folios 487: enclosed in folios 483-484. Letter dated 7 June 1814 by Captain Mackenzie, HMS Venus to Lieutenant Lucas, HMS Censor. Says he was always in sight of Norway's Coast. Demands he explain why he did noy join him.
