Folios 329-330: Donald M'Leod [Donald MacLeod], Regulating Officer, Liverpool. Reply to letter dated 30 March 1811. He states Herbert Lecoine was impressed by Lieutenant James Walker on 24 March 1811 as an Ordinary Seaman aged 18 born in Wales. He said he was an apprentice but could give no reference to the Master or to the Vessel, he was kept on two days, and no Person appearing to claim him nor any indenture being produced. He impressed him.
