Description

Folios 364-365: William Luke, Sea Fencibles, Falmouth. As directions dated 6 September 1804 he has caused the Sea Fencibles in his District to be strictly examined and he encloses a List of eighty four Men whom he has thought it incumbent on him to discharge. Although the greater part of them have been settled a considerable time on shore and have families, the remainder are composed of such Persons and come within the strict interpretation of the first section of the second article of his instructions.

Folio 366: Enclosure with folios 364-365: A List of Men discharged from the Sea Fencibles under the Command of Captain William Luke between Dodman [Point, St Austell] and the Lands End. [List with 84 names with one Petty Officer - John Wright. Subdivided by location].
