Folios 56-57: William Rush Jackson, HMS Briseis, Greenock Roads. Advising that the ship's Corporal of Marines, Thomas Kelson, has repeatedly neglected his duty and disobeyed orders from Jackson and from the first lieutenant, and asking if he may be disrated. He recommends as a replacement Private John Jerratt, a 'deserving character'.
