Description

Folios 294-295: Samuel Hood Linzee, HMS Nemesis, Port Ferraro. He reports that Lord Hood has appointed him as Captain of HMS Nemesis. He encloses a copy of his commission which he asks is confirmed.

Folios 296-297: enclosed with folios 295-296. Samuel , Lord Hord, Vice Admiral of the Red, Commander in Chief, Mediterranean. Commission appointing Samuel Hood Linzee as Captain of HMS Nemesis.

Folio 298: enclosed with folios 294-295. Samuel, Lord Hood, Vice Admiral of the Red, Commander in Chief, Mediterranean. Original copy of commission dated 8 March 1794 appointing Samuel Hood Linzee as Captain of HMS Nemesis.
