Description

Folios 163-164: George Lumsdaine, HMS Iris, Little Nore. He reports that having seen the convoy safely over the Humber, he returned to his station. On March 6 when he was 10 leagues to the east of the Texel he fell in with a French privateer and a Dutch ship which was her prize. He recaptured the Dutch ship and took the privateer which is the Le Custine, from Dunkirk. He has returned to the Nore to repair the damage suffered in a storm.
